While this beautiful architectural wonder is often called a "bridge", it is in fact a train trestle and more specifically, the CSX A-Line trestle over the James River that runs through Richmond, Virginia. It quickly became an iconic landmark for Richmond since it is clearly visible from several prominent roads throughout the city and is often the subject of photographers and artists alike. Many "Richmonders" will tell you that seeing the bridge invokes the feeling of "coming home".
