The clustered bonnet mushroom is a common sight in the Northern hemisphere all around the globe, however it is extremely picky when it comes to exactly where it grows.  This adorable fungus, only grows on oak roots, stumps or on fallen trunks and branches or the dead parts of standing oak trees.
